ProStream PES membrane has been modified to minimize its protein adsorption characteristics due to non-specific binding.  ProStream modified PES membranes provide the highest possible performance and recovery under a wide range of conditions, while exhibiting excellent chemical compatibility.  HyStream PES membrane has been modified to be significantly more hydrophilic than standard PES membranes.  It is resistant to fouling by hydrophobic species such as fats, lipids, anti-foams, and other similar highly fouling substances.

Now you are ready to start membrane screening.  The integrated feed and retentate pressure gauges make process data recording easy. Efficient Predictable Membrane Screening - The X-Flo76 is an excellent alternative to conventional stirred cells and has been shown to match stirred cell performance in simple TFF processes. X-Flo76 offers advantages in its ease of use and ability to truly mimic TFF process conditions. True tangential flow - Stirred cells have been the device of choice for years, despite not reproducing typical conditions of a TFF process.  The stir bar in a stirred cell produces several artifacts that may bias membrane screening data: High Shear - Significantly more shear, which may affect the characteristics of a shear sensitive protein. Uneven Shear - The rotating bar produces more surface shear at the outer edge of the membrane disc than in the center thus producing areas of different membrane performance across the whole disc.
